How you can help

  • By making the Guild known to blind people who might take advantage of our services.
  • By displaying in Church or elsewhere Annual Reports describing the Guild's work.
  • By talking to any people (e.g. recently retired) who might be interested in learning Braille with a view to becoming transcribers (machines and tuition will be provided).
  • By encouraging Parochial Church Councils to consider supporting the Guild as one of their annual charities.
  • If you would like to become involved with the Guild, to learn braille and become a transcriber, then please contact the secretary who will be happy to talk you through what it is all about. Specifically see our current (2016) appeal

If you would like to make a donation to the Guild of Church Braillists, please send a cheque (payable to "Guild of Church Braillists") to the following address:
The Treasurer
5 North Street

Any amount, however small, from churches or individuals, helps us to continue to provide services to blind people and will be most gratefully received.  Thank you.
